The trick to getting through difficult times is to stay connected. But sometimes connection can feel out of reach. When life feels too chaotic, or even too dull, we can lose touch with other people—and with ourselves.
Maybe you’re exhausted from dealing with circumstances beyond your control. Or maybe your brain never slows down—you bounce back and forth between fight and flight and can’t seem to settle. Maybe you know perfectly well why you’re struggling, but feel stuck in the same patterns. That’s not a personal failure! It’s a nervous system doing its best to cope.
I take a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy. This means we’ll work together to identify the problems holding you back and then act on implementing solutions that honor where you’re at right now. My style is gentle, direct, informative, and engaged. I’ll tell you what I know that might help, then roll up my sleeves and dig through the muck alongside you.
I enjoy working with trauma, emotion regulation, anxiety, ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, including the unique struggles that come along with being gifted or high intelligence. In session, we’ll spend some of our time talking through what’s going on for you, just like you’d expect in therapy. The rest of the time we’ll focus on shifting your experience at a nervous system level. This approach tends to work especially well for folks who have sensitive systems or have lived through overwhelming experiences.
Whether you’re trying to make sense of your past, come to terms with recent changes, or cultivate the best version of yourself today, I’m here to support. If you have any questions or are interested in working with me, please contact Unstuck Psychological to book a 50-minute risk-free consultation.
I look forward to connecting!
