My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore challenges and work toward healing. I take an eclectic approach to counselling, drawing from various evidence-based treatment modalities to best meet each client’s unique needs. Taking a holistic approach, I also understand that factors such as cultural context have a profound impact on an individual’s life, thus, I like to use approaches that are culturally sensitive and culturally informed.
I also believe mental health is influenced by factors like childhood experiences, socio-economic context, and habits like sleep, so I explore these areas in therapy too. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. I have experience supporting individuals with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and PTSD.
